Spotlight on Quality Swim Schools – AC Baths Swim Academy, Taupo

Based in Taupo the AC Baths Swim Academy has swimming classes to suit everyone and this year has reintroduced their programme focused on young children developing confidence in the water.

The Quality Swim School’s Aqua Funtime programme is specifically designed to provide a safe and affordable way for children to explore and develop confidence in the water through play on the slide and with the basketball hoop, pouring toys, noodles, floating and sinking toys.

Held the first Sunday of every month there is a swim teacher, with a Swimming New Zealand Early Childhood swim teacher qualification, on hand to give advice and answer any questions during the session.

Six more of their instructors will be adding the Early Childhood Swim Teacher Award to their resume when they take part in the course next month.

No matter what swimming class you take part in at the AC Baths Swim Academy you will have a Swimming New Zealand qualified swim teacher.

The swim school teaches an ideal balance of swimming skills and water confidence in a safe and friendly environment and small class sizes ensure each child receives quality tuition.

Other classes on offer at the swim school include Parents and Babies, Pre-School, School Age, Adult, Private Classes and Special Needs.

For those learn to swim students who take a keen interest in the sport AC Baths also has a squads programme offering them a chance to take the next step with their swimming.

If you’re looking for something in the school holidays they also offer Intensive Holiday Swim Lessons which are ideal for improving swimming skills fast and effectively.
