Canterbury competitive pathway swimmers completed the year with some top results from all their squads.
Swimming Canterbury West Coast began the competitive pathway programme for athletes of all ages in 2013.
The main focus of the pathway is to improve performance, skills and technique by allowing the athletes to be exposed to different training and racing environments along with different coaching styles.
The programme also provides a professional development pathway for coaches to learn from each other and to be exposed to athletes of all ages and abilities.
This year the Swimming Canterbury West Coast squads travelled to Invercargill, Auckland and Melbourne.
