The Board of Swimming New Zealand have unanimously requisitioned Swimming New Zealand to convene a Special General Meeting for the 28th July 2012 to consider the resolution that the regional associations adopt the recommendation of the Swimming New Zealand Review Working Group and proposed new constitution.
The notice for this meeting and the proposed new constitution are included below.
The Board of Swimming New Zealand believes that the recommendations and proposed new constitution represent a significant change for Swimming New Zealand in terms of its purpose, governance and operations, and will ensure the long term viability of Swimming New Zealand and support the growth and performance of the sport of competitive swimming - from entry level Club competitive swimmers to elite High Performance athletes.
