Sophie Pascoe will be returning to New Zealand earlier than planned due to the ongoing effects of an infection.
Pascoe, who was competing with a health complaint during her double gold medal winning Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games campaign, will be returning to New Zealand in order to fully recover. Pascoe will therefore no longer be attending the 2014 Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championships which will be held in Pasadena, California.
The Paralympics New Zealand Para-Swimming team will get underway at the Championships on the 6th of August (US Time).
