Ten age group swimmers from around the country are currently taking on the outdoors for Swimming New Zealand’s annual Outward Bound Camp in Anakiwa, Picton.
Selection for the camp was based on female and male swimmers between 16-18 years who competed at the 2017 New Zealand Age Group Championships.
This year’s camp has a focus on personal responsibility through exploring values. Using an interactive, experiential and appreciative approach to the three-day course. The group will explore how values guide goals, decisions and actions, working with personal and team values.
