	Rationale
The athletes for the 2020 Olympic Long list were selected by the following criteria:
1	Athletes must be currently active and current financial members of Swimming NZ

2	Any athlete who has achieved a FINA 2020 'A' standard, as published by FINA in December 2018, between the dates 1st March 2019 and the present time.

3	Any athlete who has achieved a FINA 2020 'B' standard, as published by FINA in December 2018, between the dates 1st March 2019 and the present time.

4	Any athlete who has achieved the FINA 2019 'B' standard, as published by FINA in December 2017, between the dates 1st March 2018 and present time.

5	Any athlete who has achieved the FINA 2020 'B' standard between the 1st September 2016 and 28th February 2018 (must be still active).
