Aquabladz Coaches

Aquabladz does not employ the club coaches, this service is provided to our club from BWF Aquatics.

BWF Aquatics is run by Sue Southgate and Donna Bouzaid and they manage the squads and learn to swim through this business.

Any queries regarding coaching need to be directed to BWF Aquatics.

All their staff are Swimming New Zealand qualified teachers and coaches.

	Head Coach - Sue Southgate Sue is an SNZ Gold licensed coach and was named SNZ Coach of the Year for 2014 to 2015
	Coach Consultant and Mentor - Donna Bouzaid In 2008 I became an Olympic coach with two of my athletes making the Olympic Games in Beijing and I was on the team as a coach. In 2016 I was part of the High Performance Sport NZ Leadership Programme (Cohort 3) which givces you the opportunity to develop as a leader. This has given me great experience to develop my skills to where I am today. Over the past 10 years I have set up a business in the sports sector and do coach consulting and mentoring around the country. Also I lead a women in sport coaching programme in Taranaki through Sport Taranaki. This includes workshops, programme visits and one on one personal development plans for each coach. Coaching is a skill and helping people to develop and promote themselves in their coaching is what I love to do.
