Aon 2020 NZ Short Course Series Results

Swimming New Zealand is excited to announce the results of the 2020 Aon NZ Short Course Series. With Covid-19 causing multiple disruptions to the 2020 swimming calendar and the world at large, we developed this concept to provide an opportunity for swimmers to receive national recognition and comparison in case they weren’t able to attend either of the 2020 Aon NZ Short Course Championships or the cancelled 2020 AIMS Games.

The 2020 Aon NZ Short Course Series incorporated 15 nominated events from across the country, held between 1 July and 31 October 2020. Results have been collated for events that were held at Short Course and the events that were scheduled to be held at the AIMS Games. The top 20 swimmers in each age group have been presented, in addition to the top 10 swimmers overall (open) in each of the respective events. The age groups included: 11 years, 12 years, 13 years, 14 years, 15 years, 16 years, 17 – 18 years, 19+ years and Para (open).

We would like to recognise the performances achieved at the respective events throughout the series and congratulate these swimmers. It was great to have the swimming community come together and unite, as we returned to the competition pool.
