2022 Apollo Projects Junior Festivals Event Update

Kia ora koutou,

Following yesterday’s government update regarding Omicron and the decision to move from the orange to the red traffic light setting within 48 hours of Omicron being detected in the community, something that is looking highly likely in the coming days. We have liaised with all regions and with their full support have made the proactive decision to postpone all 2022 Apollo Projects Junior Festivals. As per the current red traffic light restrictions, events can only accommodate a maximum of 100 people making the running of a large event like the Junior Festival extremely difficult.

 
 
We will continue to work with regions towards providing opportunities for our juniors to race in 2022 and will endeavour to reschedule the Junior Festivals later in the year.

 
 
All refunds will start to be processed for swimmers already entered as of Monday 1^st February.

 

These continue to be challenging times so please continue to look out for each other.
