Corey Main has been finding his form in some of the Florida men’s first few meets of the season against Minnesota, Georgia and LSU.
Main was home first for the Florida men’s team in the 200 yard backstroke in a time of 1:46.39, a NCAA ‘B’ standard time, against Minnesota over the weekend.
He also grabbed a win in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:27.91.
In the 200 yard freestyle Main was second in a time of 1:32.22, also a NCAA ‘B’ Standard time.
His swims contributed to the men’s side winning the overall honours at the meet and helping them to go 3-1 for the season so far.
At the end of last month Florida fell to Georgia where Main was fourth in his individual events, the 100 yard and 200 yard backstroke in 48.72 and 1:48.30 respectively.
Main was second in the 200 yard medley relay in 1:28.97 and picked up a win in the 400 yard freestyle relay in 3:00.39.
Florida men were ranked fifth behind the number four ranked Georgia.
Earlier in October Main grabbed two wins against LSU in the 200 yard medley relay (1:29.34) and the 100 yard freestyle (48.41).
