NZ and Australian Open Water Development Competition and Camp

As part of the new initiative between Australia and New Zealand, this Open Water competition and development camp was created to improve open water skills in up-and-coming swimmers.

The team selection is based on results obtained at the 2012 Epic Swim at Lake Taupo.

The team will travel to Sydney on Friday 30th November and will all compete in the Open Water Championships 5km and 10km races on the 01/02 December held in Penrith. Once competition has finished, a four day training camp will take place covering all aspects of open water racing skills and strategies which will help develop the swimmer's open water talent.
