Here's how you can practice a good two hand touch on land:
Stand with your nose touching a wall then take one large pace backwards. Lean forwards and touch the wall with both hands. Then, push off from the wall using your hands only, perform a small breaststroke pull and fall towards the wall again, touching it with two hands at the same time, in front of you.
This exercise helps with co-ordination and encourages a small pull as well as the correct finish.
