The 4TH Oceania Swimming Championships is being held from June 11–14, 2002 in Nouméa, New Caledonia. All pool swimming competition will be swum in a 50m (long-course) pool. There are 117 swimmers competing from 10 nations.
The FINA World Championships are contested in a long course (50-meter) pool.
