The hosts for these Championships, Port Moresby and the Papua New Swimming Federation, have established an Organising Committee (PNG 2018 Oceania), which shall be in charge of the preparation and organisation of the competitions. The Championships include swimming (four days), synchronized swimming (four days), and open water swimming (two days). It is anticipated that 18 countries will compete in this year's 12th Oceania Swimming Championships over 5 days, from 25 - 30 June 2018.
